Postnatal Massage

Postnatal massage can begin whenever you feel ready after your baby’s birth. Ideally, all new mums would have a massage as soon after birth as possible, but it is best to leave it at least a week after a vaginal birth and 6 weeks after a caesarean.

It can help the muscles release the muscle memory of labour, gently aid healing, and help muscle tension and soreness which are common from lifting, holding, and breastfeeding baby.
